App vs. Web: Why Our Mobile App Matters
The bolaku app gives you advantages over the mobile web version: faster load times because the app caches game assets locally, push notifications for upcoming Liga 1 matches and flash promotions (if you allow them), and smoother performance during live-dealer sessions where real-time streams require stable buffering. The web version works equally well for registration, deposits, and withdrawals, but the app reduces latency during active play. If your connection is spotty—common during peak hours or from regional locations like Medan or Bandung—the app's offline queue holds your actions until the connection returns. Neither path is inferior; the app is an optimisation for frequent members who play daily.
Device Compatibility
We support Android devices running Android 7.0 or later and iOS devices on iOS 12.0 or later, covering phones and tablets released in roughly the last five years. Older devices may experience slower performance during live-dealer streams or high-traffic tournament matches (such as Piala Indonesia finals), but basic navigation and betting remain functional. If your device doesn't meet these minimums, the web app remains your best option.
Troubleshooting Installation Issues
If the APK doesn't install, the most common cause is that your device blocks installation from unknown sources. Temporarily enable this in Settings → Apps & Notifications → Special App Access → Install Unknown Apps, select your browser or file manager, toggle Allow, then retry. If installation fails with a certificate error, this usually means your device clock is set incorrectly; check that your system date and time match your location (you can verify online). For iOS, if you can't add the app to your home screen, ensure you're on iOS 12 or later and that you have sufficient storage space. Certificate warnings are rare but normal when installing outside the App Store; they reflect the legitimate security check your device performs. If an issue persists, our support team is available through the in-app chat during business hours to guide you through the process.
Your Data and Security on bolaku
The bolaku app requests minimal permissions—camera and photo library for KYC document upload, notification and storage permissions for push updates and offline caching, and connectivity permissions to reach our servers. We encrypt your password and payment information with SSL and do not store payment card details locally on your device. Account security relies on your KYC verification (identity document, selfie, and address proof), two-factor authentication if enabled, and regular session reviews for withdrawal requests. When you log in from a new device, we may ask you to verify by email or SMS to confirm it's you. Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy and is not shared with third parties outside payment processors and regulatory authorities where required.
